Hold the Olympic Torch and Create Your Own

Visit the Lake Placid Olympic Museum on June 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to participate in the Olympic Authority's free Igniting Dreams Craft Activity and Touch-A-Torch Torch Program. Visitors of all ages are invited to create their own Olympic Torch while learning about the importance of design and the Olympic Games. During our Touch-A-Torch program, visitors have the opportunity to hold the 1980 and 2002 Winter Olympic Torches and learn about the history and significance of the Torch Relay.

This is a free event hosted by the Lake Placid Olympic Museum. All craft supplies will be provided. All ages are welcome to attend. 

Admission tickets for the Museum can be purchased at the Miracle Plaza Box Office.
