Opening Night Party for the 2024 Lake Placid Film Festival

Kickoff of the 2024 Lake Placid Film Festival at the Opening Night Party, held Thursday, November 7 at the festival's Headquarters Hotel, the High Peaks Resort. Meet many of our attending filmmakers, seminar presenters, and special guest, Nathan Farb, in this welcoming and inclusive event! Share the excitement of the kickoff to the Festival’s 23rd annual program.

Event Details

The Opening Night Party will run from 5:30-7:00 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., the party will move down Main Street to the historic Palace Theatre to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the release of Miracle, the recounting of Lake Placid’s gift to the world, along with Buzz Schneider, a member of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team, who will take part in a Q&A following the movie. We invite you to celebrate the opening event of our 23rd year, in this mystical, magical, MIRACLE village of Lake Placid, Adirondacks, USA.
