Open House: Master Plan for the North Elba Show Grounds & Athletic Fields

An Open House will be held on January 16 at the Lake Placid Elementary School from 5:30-7:00 p.m. After several months of working on draft plans based on feedback from stakeholders, feedback from public engagement, and through work with Town Board members and Town employees, a Master Plan has been created for the North Elba Show Grounds & Athletic Fields.

At the Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to review several displays and provide input:

  • Concept Plans: Boards featuring detailed designs, precedent images, and 3D views to help illustrate the vision and intent.
  • Priority Setting: Interactive boards inviting attendees to prioritize various project aspects, such as the torch restoration and celebration, open-air buildings, recreational building, pump track, and more.
  • Open-Ended Input: Boards designed to gather ideas for specific elements, including potential uses for the long building.
