The Games were amazing!

In January of 2023, the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games brought the world to the historic mountain town of Lake Placid, which has hosted two Olympic Winter Games and two previous World University Games. The largest gathering of college athletes on the planet, athletes from 50 nations competed in world-class sporting events throughout the Lake Placid area and the Adirondacks.

Over 10 days, winter sport was celebrated with cheering crowds, a festival on Main Street, medal ceremonies, concerts, "learn to" activities, and so much more.
