Secrets of snow!

Time: 1 p.m. 

Snow is the main ingredient in an Adirondack winter! Have you ever wondered about the science behind snow? How do snowflakes form? Is it true that each snowflake is unique? Join an ADK Naturalist at Cascade Welcome Center to answer these questions and more. Through exploration, experimentation, and crafts, we will discover the secrets of snow and enjoy the wintery Adirondack Landscape.

This program is recommended for participants ages 7 and up. Please come prepared to spend most of the program outside and in the snow. A heated inside space is available for crafts and warming up after. Snowshoes will be provided.
