Dmitry’s Feast of the Peaks & Music Festival

The Shipman Youth Center (SYC) of Lake Placid, NY is hosting a food and beverage tasting and music festival in honor of Dmitry Feld to benefit the (SYC). 

Activities will include all-day live music; a 50/50 cash raffle and one for a grill; food competition with categories in ribs, wings and mac and cheese; samplings of fare from the Redneck Bistro, Pickled Pig, Cambria Catering, Generations Tap and Grill, Wyatt's Lake Placid, Eleanor's Pasta Kitchen, Fat Kids BBQ, The Greeks and others; vendor trucks on-site offering Polish and American fare; Paul Smith’s College woodsmen will be on-site; face painting by Sue Delamarter; and caricature art by Joe Ferris. A cornhole, bounce house and obstacle course will add to the entertainment. The day will end with a show by PAC Wrestling.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

• 10:30 a.m.: Gates open at North Elba Show Grounds
• 11 a.m.: U.S. and Ukrainian national anthems
• 11:05 a.m.: Food tastings
• 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Paul Smith's Coll. Woodsmen’s competition
• 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Cornhole
• 4 – 5 p.m.: Woodsmen’s competition
• 5 - 6:30 p.m.: Professional wrestling
• 6:30 p.m.: Closing remarks, raffle drawing, category winners, grill raffle and 50/50 raffle (live on the Shipman Youth Center Facebook page)
