Follow back roads for a 11.6 mile loop through forest and farmland. This scenery has been inspiring creativity for generations, including the builder of Asgaard Farm, artist Rockwell Kent. He used this scenery in many of his paintings, including “Moonlight Sleigh Ride,” “Asgaard’s Meadows,” “Asgaard in January” and “Clover Fields.” The Sheldrake Road area, overlooking the farm’s fields, attracts many plein air painters.

Asgaard Farm is now a working goat farm and cheese center.
