Start the Cross-Country Season at Mt Van Hoevenberg
Join us on Dec 15 at Mt Van Hoevenberg for the season opener with 3 km, 6 km and a 1.5 km kids race.
Experience ADK Tour De Ski, a citizen’s ski race series set in the spectacular Adirondack Mountains! With six venues, multiple distances, and events from December to March, it’s your chance to explore the Adirondacks like never before. Register for your favorite races or go all-in for the full experience. Let’s make this a season to remember!

- 10:10 | 3rd/4th graders | 750 m
- 10:20 | 5th/6th graders | 1.5 km
- 10:30 | 7th/8th graders | 3 km
- 10:40 | K and younger | Stadium
- 11:00 | Open 10k |
Open 5k - Awards | begin at 12:30 | Awards Plaza, behind the lodge
Bib pick up begins at 9:00 a.m. in the race suite – second floor, hallway at the end, first door on the left.
Transponder pick up begins 15 minutes before race time – right in the stadium, near the start line.
Ski Waxing
There is a public waxing room available for use on the first floor of the Mountain Pass Lodge. Additional wax tables will be available for use just outside of the Mountain Pass Lodge.
