The original property had about 14 buildings. Some of the best fishing in New York State can be had off of the 20 by 20 dock as well as sunbathing and relaxing. The large veranda has rocking chairs and hammocks as well as the best views on Lake Placid, bar none. On the second floor there is a balcony which is great for morning coffee or stargazing. There is a 24 by 16 screened in rear porch has a second kitchen with major burners for large cooking and a additional dining area. The great room consists of four large picture windows living room with wood stove, den and dining room. This property is BOAT ACCESS ONLY as most properties on Lake Placid are. We provide an outboard motor boat with the rental. The property is on the West Shore of Lake Placid and is about a five to ten minute boat ride from the marina or you can choose to walk the lake trail about 2.5 miles.

The house is fully equipped all you need is fresh food and a desire to relax. In 1995 the owner moved some log cabins to the property and reassembled them into a 1500 square foot guest cabin which is available if you feel you may need it. It will sleep 6 to 8. There is a bocci ball court on the property as well as croquette and many other games and activities available. There are many marked trails in the area and guide services are available.
