Mirror Lake

Part of what makes Lake Placid's main street so enticing is the way it winds along the shores of Mirror Lake. Beautiful in every season, the lakeside views are even more breathtaking in fall, surrounded by mountains blanketed in color, reds, oranges, and yellow reflecting in the placid water. • Sit lakeside. Mid's Park is located in the center of Main Street and offers a grassy lawn with benches and Adirondack chairs. Here, you can sip coffee, watch the loons, and enjoy a peaceful waterfront moment amidst the bustle of downtown.
