Elevate your winter with a three-day PRIDE celebration in beautiful Lake Placid, one of America’s original winter getaways. Join us in celebrating the first Adirondack Winter Pride Weekend, where members of the LGBTQI+ community, family members, and allies from all over can connect over days filled with winter fun, celebrations, delicious dining, and a region that does après-ski like no other.
Three days of Winter Pride fun
Over three days, from Friday, March 7, to Sunday, March 9, Adirondack Winter Pride participants will have the chance to discover many of the activities and events that make Lake Placid such a fun, welcoming destination. From skiing and skating to après-style parties, downtown shopping and dining, and international sporting competition, it's a celebration of all things snow-season and pride!
The winter weekend kicks off with a big Welcome Reception at the Lake Placid Conference Center. Pick up your registration packets, snack on elegant charcuterie boards, and get to know the incredible community that will surround you for the remainder of the weekend. Then, spend the next two days playing and partying in Lake Placid! Go shopping on one of the best main streets anywhere (it's lakeside and so, so picturesque) or make your own brewery crawl by visiting Lake Placid's five local craft breweries and tasting rooms. Lean into the Olympic spirit and get hands on with interactive exhibits at the Lake Placid Olympic Museum, or try a make-your-own activity like candle making at Pure Placid or jewelry making at Just Bead It!
Take advantage of the discounted lift ticket pricing that comes exclusively with your registration and ski or snowboard the dramatic vertical at Whiteface Mountain. Opt for a flatter ski experience and explore miles of cross-country ski trails tucked away at Mt Van Hoevenberg. While you're at this Lake Placid Legacy Site, check out the International Bobsled & Skeleton World Championships happening there! The event will bring the best bobsled and skeleton athletes from around the world to the historic icy track, and you are likely to spot some former and future Olympians while you're there!
If skating is more your speed, Adirondack Winter Pride has you covered. Adirondack Winter Pride will host an exclusive skating party on Sunday in the historic 1932 Jack Shea Arena. Don your flashiest figure skating attire and meet us at the rink!
Registration
Registration for Adirondack Winter Pride 2025 is $129 per person. Registration is available online only and will close on Wednesday, March 5.

Information for registrants
Registration packets can be picked up at the Welcome Reception on Friday, March 7 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Lake Placid Conference Center.
Those not able to attend the Welcome Reception can pick up their packets at the Lake Placid Visitors Bureau during regular business hours Friday-Sunday of Pride weekend.
